At Motion Light Media we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. We aim to ensure that you feel that your data is safe in our hands, and that it won't be sold, traded, or otherwise to anybody else. Here at Motion Light Media we don't do masses upon masses of personalised marketing, which means that your data is never used for marketing purposes, and will never be transferred to anybody else for marketing purposes. In this privacy policy we have detailed everything that we do to ensure that your data is kept safe, we also tell you how we use the data that you provide to us, and we tell you in what exceptional circumstances that we may share your data with somebody else. Security

We use 256-bit encryption to protect your data. A 512-bit encryption method is used to protect passwords.

Types of Data We Collect

Website Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser at our request. They are used to remember all sorts of information that is important to your use of our website. You can read more about what we store using cookies on our cookies policy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor the behaviour of the visitors to our website, for example, to see how many people are visiting us and where they go when explore our website. We do not allow Google to access any information which could identify you. When you browse our website, you do so anonymously.

Mailing Lists & Emails

Motion Light Media does not employ a mailing list, this means that you will never recieve regular emails from us.

We send emails to you only when absolutely necessary. We send you an email when your register with us, the email is used to activate your account to make sure that it is actually you that is registering with us, and not somebody else just using your email address.

We also send you an email when something on your account changes. For example, if a new invoice is created for your account, or when there is a change to that invoice. Emails are also sent when your account settings are changed such as your password and two-factor authentication settings.

Third Parties

Motion Light Media does not typically share information with any third parties. However, there are exceptional circumstances where we may do so.

We will share your data with law enforcement agencies if and when they request information from, but only when a judge has signed a warrant to legally force us to hand over that data.

We may willingly share your data with West Midlands Police, the National Crime Agency, counter-terrorist police, and other law enforcement if at any time we become concerned about the behaviour you have displayed on our website or during communications with us. At Motion Light Media we have a duty of care to safeguard our customers and website visitors, this means that we may share your data if we become concerned about your welfare, or if you break laws whilst using our website.

Access to Personal Information

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) you are entitled to view, change, or delete any of the data that we hold on you. If you are registered with us then you can view all of the information that we hold on you by going to the "Personal Information" settings page on your account. You will also be able to amend and delete information there.

Changes to this Policy

We will review this policy once every twelve months, except when there has been an update to data protection law, in which case, this policy will be updated prior to, or within 14 days, of the new act being enacted.
